Large-Area Maps
Looking at a large-area map is like looking at the Earth from a satellite. The shape or outline of thousands of square miles can be seen, and only the largest features of a region are visible.
This lesson includes two large-area maps. The first is a partial map of the United States. Alaska and Hawaii are not shown.
The second is a map of Canada, the continental United States, Mexico, and the countries in Central America.

Click on the state that is farthest north.
